IT Architect Senior

FIS Management Services, LLC is seeking an experienced IT Architect Senior to join our team in Jacksonville, FL.

The IT Architect Senior will be responsible for defining, maintaining, and extending functional product architecture for FIS' suite of Financial Services Applications. This role will also involve coordinating and guiding the work of others to ensure successful project delivery.

• Participate in process flow analysis and process redesign with the Engagement Manager.
• Contribute to the creation of a detailed functional design document to match customer requirements.
• Own the technical design document and complete a configuration workbook.
• Propose effective architectural solutions to meet cost, quality, and schedule requirements.
• Work with project teams to design prototypes and validate application functionality.
• Perform custom systems architecture and design for highly scalable and financial transaction-intensive applications.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and five years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Key skills and qualifications include:

• Experience with end-to-end complex systems development life cycles.
• Ability to work with clients to determine business requirements.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies, including networking, computing platform, storage, database, security, and middleware.
• Experience with distributed and heterogeneous cloud computing environments.
• Ability to design solutions using clustering, high availability, virtualization, and load balancing.

FIS is committed to providing a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
