Electrical Engineering Internship Opportunity

Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented electrical engineering student to join our team for a paid summer internship in 2025. This opportunity is ideal for students pursuing a degree in Architectural Engineering or Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.

The internship will provide exposure to a variety of engineering experiences and tasks, including:

  • Supporting aesthetically pleasing lighting designs with technically competent analysis
  • Designing power distribution and/or lighting design for commercial, institutional, or healthcare facilities
  • Performing electrical engineering design calculations
  • Researching code issues and working with regulatory officials
  • Analyzing reports, drawings, tests, and other data to plan and design work

Requirements:

  • Pursuing an engineering degree in Architectural Engineering or Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
  • Entering junior year or higher of undergraduate degree or currently enrolled in grad school
  • Knowledge of electrical analysis software (ETAP, Easy Power, Dapper/Captor, AGI, and/or Visual Pro)
  • Knowledge of Revit is preferred
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
