Registered Nurse Resource Float Pool PRN

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Resource Float Pool team at Methodist Hospital Metropolitan. As a PRN Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of our hospital.
Responsibilities- Apply the nursing process, critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, technical skills, and leadership to deliver safe nursing care to patients.
- Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes.
- Provide communication, confidence, and professionalism as evidenced by active engagement in unit and organizational activities.
- Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serving as a resource to the patient care team.
- Accountability for delivering quality nursing care services and promoting a positive image of nursing.
- Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program.
- 2 years of Medical Surgical or Medical Surgical Tele/Ortho acute care hospital nursing experience.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
- Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
Methodist Hospital Metropolitan is a 370-bed hospital located in downtown San Antonio. We offer a range of services, including heart and cancer care, general surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, obstetrics and gynecology services, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services, sleep disorder evaluation, and emergency room care.
