Job Summary:

The Kalispel Golf and Country Club is seeking a skilled Kitchen Steward to join our team. As a key member of our culinary staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with Kalispel Tribe of Indians, Washington State Regulations, and Kalispel Golf & Country Club policies and procedures.
  • Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
  • Sweep and mop kitchen floors.
  • Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
  • Requisition cleaning supplies as needed.
  • Clean and organize banquet items for set up.
  • Available and willing to work any changes in hours deemed necessary for business levels.
  • Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular good attendance record.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • Prefer one to three months related experience and/or training helpful; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Tribal Work Permit 1.
  • Valid health card or ServSafe equivalent.
  • Hepatitis A vaccination.

Work Environment:

The worker is frequently subject to inside environmental conditions, which provide protection from weather conditions, but not necessarily from temperature changes, and is occasionally subject to outside environmental conditions and to wet and/or humid conditions.
