Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, staff, and management to resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Utilize the parts department computer system to manage inventory, process orders, and provide price quotes.
  • Provide high-level service to internal and external customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Pull and fill orders from stock, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Conduct weekly bin checks to ensure stock accuracy and notify the parts manager of any discrepancies.
  • Locate out-of-stock parts from outside sources and submit emergency orders as needed.
  • Process internal requests for parts, ensuring they are billed correctly on service repair orders.
  • Receive payment from retail customers or obtain credit authorization, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
  • Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
