Milestone Recovery is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in a dynamic and rewarding role. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical part in the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality nursing care to clients undergoing detoxification from alcohol and drugs during the overnight shift.
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers, ensuring accurate dosing and proper documentation.
- Monitor vital signs, withdrawal symptoms, and other physiological and psychological changes in clients, responding promptly and appropriately to any emergent situations.
- Document client assessments, interventions, and responses accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols, medication administration guidelines, and facility policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the day shift nursing staff to ensure continuity of care and effective communication of client needs and status.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills related to addiction medicine and nursing practice.
- Valid registered nurse license in the state of Maine.
- CPR certification is a plus.
- Experience with substance use and/or mental illness is a plus.
