Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Occupational Therapy Assistant Instructor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing instruction and support to students in our Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in the Occupational Therapy Assistant program, including classroom and clinical instruction
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students and the program
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to students
  • Participate in program evaluation and improvement activities
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapy Assistant in the State of Oklahoma
  • At least three years of experience in occupational therapy or occupational therapy education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience teaching in a post-secondary setting
  • Knowledge of curriculum development and instructional design
  • Experience with assessment and evaluation of student learning
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to changing circumstances. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and to communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and administrators.
