We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist RRT to join our team at Parham Doctors' Hospital, a leading healthcare provider dedicated to the growth and development of our colleagues.

About the Role

This is a rewarding opportunity for a skilled respiratory therapist to coordinate and deliver comprehensive respiratory care services in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Salary:$64,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patients' respiratory needs, administering oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy, as well as monitoring patients receiving invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation.

Job Description:

  • Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate the need for, and response to, respiratory therapy
  • Administer respiratory care therapies, including oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy
  • Assist with placement of artificial airways and initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation
  • Monitor patients for therapeutic response and notify providers and intervene as appropriate in the event of an unintended response
  • Assist with transportation of ventilator-dependent patients and respond to emergent patient situations

Requirements:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Associate Degree
