Psychologist Independent Contractor Opportunity

Concentra, a leading healthcare company, is seeking a licensed Psychologist to join our team as an independent contractor. This role is a contract position that complements your current practice, offering a unique opportunity to work with medically complex patients and expedite return to work and functional restoration.

As a Concentra Advanced Specialist, you will provide specialist services and treatment to patients who have experienced a work-related injury or trauma. You will work collaboratively with medical and therapy providers, communicate with employers, and take an active role in case management.

Responsibilities:

  • Examine patients for symptoms of organic, congenital, or acquired disorders and determine nature and extent
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient data and information
  • Order and perform diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures
  • Consult with physicians, attorneys, insurance adjusters, and managed care coordinators
  • Develop and implement patient management plans
