Job Summary

The successful candidate will perform medical screenings, monitor patients, and report changes in condition or vital signs under the supervision of a physician. This is a unique opportunity to utilize medical skills in a safe and secure environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform medical screenings during the booking process
  • Monitor patients and report changes in condition or vital signs
  • Obtain, record, and report vital signs
  • Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and others
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team and correctional staff
Requirements
  • Certification as an Emergency Medical Technician in accordance with state regulations
  • Current CPR certification
