This role involves assisting with the tasks related to the electrical construction, maintenance, repair, and enhancement of installations, equipment, and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Possess a valid driver's license, maintain a clean driving record, and have reliable personal transportation. Ensure a professional appearance on job sites. Experience with hand and power tools is preferred, along with a personal set of tools.
  2. Support the construction, maintenance, repair, and enhancement of installations, equipment, and grounds.
  3. Assist skilled or semi-skilled tradespeople as directed.
  4. Perform routine tasks in various trades such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, landscaping, painting, and roofing.
  5. Act as a helper in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, roofing, and similar projects.
  6. Handle heavy materials, manage materials, unpack, restock, organize work site materials, and perform demolition tasks as needed.
  7. Conduct basic tasks not specifically related to trades, such as transporting equipment or materials, and assisting with grounds maintenance including snow and ice removal.
  8. Observe ongoing work and adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment.
  9. Maintain cleanliness by disposing of waste and ensuring the work site is left in equal or better condition than when work commenced.
  10. Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications: To excel in this role, candidates must successfully perform each essential duty. The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, or one year of related experience. Experience in electrical work is advantageous. Knowledge of construction practices is a plus.

Language Skills: Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Capable of writing simple correspondence and effectively presenting information in one-on-one and small group settings.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with numbers. Capable of applying these operations using units of American currency and measurements.

Reasoning Skills: Ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed but straightforward written or oral instructions. Capable of addressing problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Equipment Used:
Various hand tools, ratchet straps, bungee cords, ladders, shovels, rakes, scissors lift.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong time management skills, ability to multitask, professionalism, and effective oral communication skills.
