Job Title: Hospitalist Physician Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Hospitalist Physician Assistant to join our team at TeamHealth in Hendersonville, NC.

About the Role:

This is a full-time opportunity to work as a Hospitalist Physician Assistant in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Hospitalist Physician Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and contributing to the development of our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Conduct thorough medical histories, perform physical examinations, and order diagnostic tests as needed
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and procedural interventions
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field
  • Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C)
  • Experience working as a Hospitalist Physician Assistant or in a similar role
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
