Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Senior Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting pharmacists with daily operations, and maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist pharmacists with daily operations, including filling prescriptions, verifying medication, and checking for potential interactions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment, including restocking shelves, cleaning equipment, and disposing of hazardous waste.
  • Support the pharmacy team by performing tasks such as processing prescriptions, handling customer transactions, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and healthcare providers to ensure a positive and supportive work environment.
Requirements
  • PCTB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
  • One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prefer to have prior work experience with Walgreens.
  • Prefer basic math skills (counting, measuring, and weighing medications).
  • Prefer basic level PC skills (for example: start up and shut down computer, use mouse to point and click, start and close programs, switch between programs, save files, print documents, and/or access information online).
