Job Summary:

This role involves assisting physicians in delivering healthcare services, including identifying patients' chief complaints, recording observations, and preparing patients for examinations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting vital sign tests and performing medical procedures as directed.
  • Maintaining accurate medical records and transcribing doctors' orders.
  • Cleaning and sterilizing equipment, stocking patient rooms, and managing medical supply inventory.
  • Providing excellent customer service and interacting effectively with patients, colleagues, and healthcare providers.

Qualifications:

  • A Medical Assistant Certificate from an accredited institution or one year of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations.
  • Experience with HEDIS processes and procedures is a plus.
