Job SummaryWe are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our growing team. As a PTA, you will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive treatment to patients, assist in identifying patients for rehabilitation, and document patient progress.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
- Assist in identifying patients for rehabilitation and referring them accordingly.
- Document patient progress on weekly progress notes in an accurate and timely fashion, and obtain the co-signature of the Physical Therapist.
- Ensure MD orders are obtained for treatments, recertifications, and discharges.
- Complete all required documentation requirements as indicated and according to state guidelines.
- Graduate of an accredited college with an A.S. in Physical Therapist Assistant recognized by the APTA.
- Current license and/or registration as a Physical Therapist Assistant in-state as applicable.
