Collaboration will be key as you work alongside government agencies, industry stakeholders, and academic institutions to evaluate emerging technologies that align with CBP's operational requirements.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic guidance on traveler processing systems to CBP
  • Engage with both governmental and non-governmental organizations
  • Oversee program initiatives and monitor their advancement
  • Organize meetings and prepare comprehensive reports
  • Participate in demonstrations of new technologies
  • Work in partnership with program leadership

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
  • Over 10 years of experience in CBP operations
  • Thorough understanding of CBP protocols and procedures
  • Proficient in developing use cases

Desirable Attributes:

  • Master's Degree in a related discipline
  • Knowledge of various CBP systems and applications

Security Clearance:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Ability to obtain and maintain CBP suitability

Physical Demands:

  • Position requires being stationary for more than 50% of the time
  • Strong communication skills are essential
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment
  • Occasional movement within an office environment
