Caregiver/Companion

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Caregiver/CNA to join our team at Village Caregiving in Quincy. As a key member of our care team, you will provide personalized support and assistance to our clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

This is a full-time position, with various shift options available, including 7-3pm, 3-11pm, and 11-7pm. The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, a friendly demeanor, and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with our clients and their families to understand their unique needs and preferences.

• Provide personal care and hygiene assistance, including bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Assist with medication management and ambulation.
• Support clients with mobility around the house or outside, including doctor's appointments and walks.
• Prepare and serve meals.
• Participate in physical therapy exercises and activities.
• Complete light housekeeping duties.
• Report any unusual incidents or emergencies.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; experience as a Caregiver, CNA, or HHA preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Prior experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum 1 year).
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards.
• Supportive and compassionate attitude.

The estimated salary for this position is $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer competitive benefits, including 401K and opportunities for career growth.
