Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will assess patients' strengths and weaknesses to create effective treatment plans tailored to their needs.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients' functional abilities and develop personalized treatment plans to improve mobility and function.
  • Implement a range of interventions, including therapeutic exercises, joint mobilization, and modalities, to promote recovery and independence.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless communication and coordinated care.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes using electronic medical records (EMRs).
  • Supervise support staff, including physical therapist assistants (PTAs) and athletic trainers (ATCs).
  • Attend annual billing and coding seminars to stay up-to-date on industry best practices.
  • Promote JAG Physical Therapy in the community through lectures and presentations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy required; Doctorate degree preferred.
  • Licensed Physical Therapist in the state practicing in.
  • Completed state-regulated continuing education units (CEUs) in appropriate states (NY, NJ).
  • Valid CPR certification.
  • Experience/knowledge with EMR software preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong clinical decision-making skills.
  • Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Able to work as part of a team with minimal supervision.
  • Maintains a positive, professional demeanor at all times.
