As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in the healthcare team by operating computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce high-quality medical images for diagnostic purposes. This position requires a strong understanding of CT technology, excellent patient communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining the procedure, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality medical images, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Process images for radiologists and physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Handle patient records, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal imaging outcomes.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of recent experience as a CT technologist.
  • ARRT Certification.
  • BLS Certification (AHA).
  • Current state license (if applicable).
