We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to review and authorize service plans for ADvantage Waiver applicants. In this role, you will analyze service plans to ensure accuracy and completeness, identify potential health and safety issues, and communicate with provider agencies as needed.

As a Social Services Specialist I/II, you will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing and authorizing service plans for ADvantage Waiver applicants">
  • Analyzing service plans for accuracy and completeness">
  • Identifying potential health and safety issues and communicating with clinical staff">
  • Writing and communicating information in a clear and concise manner">
  • Demonstrating the ability to navigate computer systems within the service plan authorization unit">

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree (Social Services Specialist I) or Master's degree (Social Services Specialist II)">
  • One year of experience in professional social work (Social Services Specialist II)">
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience">
