Job Title: Executive Director of Los Angeles Market
Job Summary: The American Lung Association is seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead our development efforts in the Los Angeles market. As the lead fundraiser in Los Angeles, you will oversee Special Events, Corporate Development, Community Foundations, and Individual Giving, building strong relationships with volunteer board and event committee members, as well as community leaders.
Salary: $125,000 - $145,000 per annum, depending on experience.

This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on lung health and disease prevention while growing your career in a dynamic and supportive environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Serve as the lead development officer and oversee unrestricted revenue goals in Los Angeles.
- Lead nationally-designed LUNG FORCE activities throughout Los Angeles.
- Directly manage all fundraising staff in the market.
- Manage a personal portfolio of local corporate prospects.
- Foster a culture of philanthropy amongst all Los Angeles staff and volunteers.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- A minimum of eight years in non-profit management with a successful track record in revenue generation.
- Proven supervisory, leadership, and team building skills.
- Strong experience in volunteer recruitment and engagement.
- Ability to work as a critical part of a larger nationwide team.
Location: The position is located at the American Lung Association's Los Angeles, California office and will be a hybrid of in-person and virtual work.
