Surgical Progressive Care Nurse PRN

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in our Surgical Progressive Care Unit. As a valued member of our healthcare team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for:
- Assessing patient conditions during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Performing procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, and ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care administration in the patient's medical record.
- Administering prescribed medications, monitoring patients for therapeutic response, and taking appropriate action in the event of an unintended response to the medication.
- Providing exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipating patient needs, and resolving them.
- Educating patients, families, and caregivers about the patient's medical condition, treatment plan, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring complete understanding by translating complex medical terminology.
We are seeking a Registered Nurse with:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 1 year of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification within 1 year of employment start date.
- Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
