Physical Therapist Assistant

Pinnacle Home Care is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a PTA, you will work under the direction of a Physical Therapist to provide client services in the comfort of patients' homes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide client services delegated by the Physical Therapist, including routine strengthening and therapeutic exercises.
- Participate in the preparation of clinical and daily progress notes, reviewed and submitted according to company policy.
- Assist patients with the use of self-help devices and instruct clients and family members on exercise programs.
- Identify potential ineffective drug therapy or adverse reactions and report to the Physical Therapist.
- Observe and record activities and findings in the clinical record and report to the Physical Therapist and physician any adverse reactions to treatment.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program or equivalent education.
- Minimum of one year's experience in home healthcare preferred.
- Electronic medical record experience is preferred but not essential.
- Must display good emotional health and be able to physically tolerate much standing, stooping, bending, and heavy lifting.
- Must be self-directed and able to work with little supervision and have good observational, judgment, and communication skills.
