We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated MRI Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment in Rockford, Illinois.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images of patients' bodies. They will work under the direction of the Chief of Radiology and the Imaging Services Director, utilizing their expertise and judgment to ensure optimal diagnostic quality and patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images of patients' bodies
  • Interview patients to explain MRI procedures and address concerns
  • Ensure patient and staff safety during MRI procedures
  • Orient new hires and train MRI Technologists, students, and trainees
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience as a MRI Technologist
  • License in required state
  • BLS certification
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to learn applications relevant to the position
