The Technology Support Specialist plays a pivotal role within the Technology Team, ensuring that both academic and administrative operations run smoothly. This position is designed for individuals who possess a solid understanding of IT principles, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to providing outstanding support to our community.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the primary point of contact for technical assistance across the entire school community.
- Diagnose and investigate issues; meticulously document, track, and oversee the resolution process to guarantee timely outcomes.
- Maintain and support software applications, hardware, and technological equipment.
- Manage inventory of technological resources, including distribution and collection of equipment as necessary.
- Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes for employees and students, including technology orientation sessions.
- Assist with user account management and access across various platforms.
- Deliver comprehensive training for hardware and software through in-person sessions and create user-friendly documentation.
- Coordinate technical setups for meetings and events, addressing audio-visual requirements.
- Support the technology team in various functions, including data management and security initiatives.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate the expertise and experience necessary to fulfill the responsibilities outlined in this role effectively.
