Job Summary

Strata Solar LLC is seeking a highly skilled Solar Farm Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our solar farms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal performance of our solar farms.
  • Construction and Commissioning: Work with our construction team to install and commission new solar farms, ensuring that all systems are functioning correctly.
  • Corrective Maintenance: Troubleshoot and repair issues with our solar farms, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
  • Quality Assurance: Verify that all equipment and systems are installed and functioning according to contract documents and industry standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our operations and maintenance teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements
  • Experience: 4-5 years of experience as a commercial journeyman electrician, with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a commercial electrical helper.
  • Certifications: NABCEP PV Installer certification preferred.
  • Skills: Knowledge of National Electrical Code and standard design/construction practices, clear understanding of OSHA safe workplace practices and procedures, ability to read and understand electrical single-line and three-line diagrams.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to sit, stoop, kneel, bend, stand, or walk short distances for 8-10 hours a day, ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
