About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Garage Door Installer to join our team at Banko Overhead Doors. As a Garage Door Installer, you will be responsible for the construction, installation, and/or maintenance of overhead garage doors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate company vehicle and maintain a safe and clean work site, equipment, and company vehicle
  • Assist with commercial and residential garage door issues and review work orders for accuracy and completeness before departing the job site
  • Work hand in hand with management to ensure all job site readiness and reporting, and document work and maintain inventory
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required and mechanically inclined
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule and have a valid and clean 3-year driving record (MVR will be run prior to hire)
  • Relevant prior experience in a related field of garage door and opener service, such as construction, framing, HVAC, or related field
Qualifications
  • Ability to communicate with the customer in an up-sell and solution-based conversation and read and understand directions and instructions
  • Comfortable with face-to-face customer interactions and strong communication skills
  • A team player, organized, innovative, and possession of an excellent work ethic, flexible, and comfortable working in outdoor conditions
