The selected candidate will play a crucial role in the culinary operations of Nobis Preschool, focusing on meal preparation and kitchen maintenance. This position involves collaborating closely with the preschool management to ensure the delivery of nutritious meals and uphold cleanliness standards in the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
- Punctually arrive at work, prepared to begin meal preparations.
- Assist in the development of menu plans.
- Ensure timely meal preparation in alignment with the children's dining schedule.
- Be aware of allergy requirements and provide alternative meal options as necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, including sweeping, mopping, window cleaning, dusting, and disinfecting.
- Oversee inventory management of kitchen supplies such as plates, bowls, cups, and utensils.
- Manage food inventory and compile shopping lists on a weekly basis.
- Participate in all staff and parent meetings, as well as mandatory training sessions.
- Adhere to the established dress code policy.
- Exhibit professionalism and loyalty towards Nobis, its children, parents, and staff.
- Stay informed about all policies and procedures of Nobis.
- Report any signs of contagious illnesses, unusual incidents, or serious injuries to the appropriate personnel.
Qualifications
- Successful completion of a background check through state and federal agencies.
- Completion of required training and coursework for the position (on-site training will be provided).
- Possession of a current health screening, MMR & Whooping Cough (DTap) vaccinations, flu shot (or declination), and TB test.
