Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities
  • Operate imaging equipment, such as CT scanners and X-ray machines, to produce high-quality images of patients' internal structures.
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures, including images and test results.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to provide the highest level of patient care.
Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
  • Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT).
  • At least 2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in a travel or per diem setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to lift and move patients, as well as stand for long periods of time.
