Driving Instructor

Coastline Academy is a leading provider of behind-the-wheel driver education in the United States. Founded in 2017, we have grown to become the largest company of our kind, with a presence in 7 states and a commitment to transparency and efficiency.

We are seeking a qualified Driving Instructor to join our team. As a Driving Instructor, you will be responsible for educating and advising students on the fundamentals of operating a car behind the wheel. You will work in a company-provided vehicle, teaching students in a safe and controlled environment.

• Teach students the skills and knowledge necessary to become safe and confident drivers
• Provide instruction on the rules of the road and safe driving practices
• Help students develop confidence in their driving abilities
• Document and report on students' progress
• Maintain timely communication with your supervisor and support team

• A valid State Driver's License in the state you wish to work in
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and reference check
• 10 years of legal driving experience
• A strong safety mindset and strong reasoning ability

• A paid training program to obtain the state-required driving instructor certification
• A company-provided vehicle for teaching
• A supportive team environment

This is a part-time position, with lessons occurring from 12pm-9pm on weekdays and 8am-9pm on weekends. You will be working with students of all ages and skill levels, and will be responsible for creating a safe and supportive learning environment.
