We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team at The Woman's Hospital of Texas. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift.
Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care and ensure the well-being of patients in the Emergency Room.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and their families.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on health-related topics and disease management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
- Neonate Resuscitation certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Texas.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Associate degree in Nursing.
