Job Overview:
The Production Assembler is responsible for executing a variety of routine mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly tasks, adhering to established guidelines and in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts a range of mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly of small components following company directives and procedures.
- Reviews assembly instructions or schematic diagrams to ensure correct operational sequence.
- Handles minute components such as ceramic boards, crystals, gauges, fine pins, and solder particles under a microscope using precision tools.
- Adjusts, aligns, and solders fine wires to resistors and base components.
- Utilizes epoxies and heating elements to bond or seal parts, while performing various in-process tests.
- Adheres to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Completes other assigned tasks as necessary.
- Maintains regular, consistent, and punctual attendance, with potential for night and weekend shifts as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Proficient in operating various hand tools and light machinery.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret company documents, including safety rules and operational instructions.
- Good manual dexterity for working with small components.
- Problem-solving skills to perform straightforward tasks using existing procedures.
- Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
