Job Overview:


The Production Assembler is responsible for executing a variety of routine mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly tasks, adhering to established guidelines and in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducts a range of mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly of small components following company directives and procedures.
  • Reviews assembly instructions or schematic diagrams to ensure correct operational sequence.
  • Handles minute components such as ceramic boards, crystals, gauges, fine pins, and solder particles under a microscope using precision tools.
  • Adjusts, aligns, and solders fine wires to resistors and base components.
  • Utilizes epoxies and heating elements to bond or seal parts, while performing various in-process tests.
  • Adheres to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Completes other assigned tasks as necessary.
  • Maintains regular, consistent, and punctual attendance, with potential for night and weekend shifts as required.


Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience.


Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Proficient in operating various hand tools and light machinery.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret company documents, including safety rules and operational instructions.
  • Good manual dexterity for working with small components.
  • Problem-solving skills to perform straightforward tasks using existing procedures.
  • Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
