About the Role:

Kansas State University is seeking a Custodial Specialist to provide routine cleaning services to campus buildings, ensuring a clean and safe environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
  • Operate a wide variety of commercial janitorial equipment, including vacuum cleaners, mops, and disinfectant sprayers.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve cleaning goals and deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure a smooth and efficient cleaning process.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous custodial experience in a large residential or commercial building preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
