Job Summary:
We are looking for a qualified psychologist to provide direct patient contact, including case management, psychological assessment and treatment planning, individual psychotherapy/assessment sessions, family/caregiver stress therapy sessions, and other evidence-based treatments for serious mental illness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including psychological assessments, treatment planning, and individual and group therapy sessions.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans for patients with serious mental illness.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to mental health services.
Requirements:
- Doctoral degree in psychology from a graduate program in psychology accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA), the Psychological Clinical Science Accreditation System (PCSAS), or the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA).
- Completed a professional psychology internship training program that was accredited by APA or CPA.
- Full and unrestricted license from any U.S. State.
- Education or experience with providing care to individuals with Serious Mental Illness (Preferred).
