Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team at Jefferson Health. As a CRNA, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality anesthesia care to our patients.

Job Summary:

The CRNA will work collaboratively with our attending anesthesiologists to provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures. You will be responsible for pre-anesthetic preparation, intraoperative anesthesia care, and post-anesthetic recovery. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in pre-anesthetic preparation and evaluation of patients
  • Provide intraoperative general anesthesia care in collaboration with attending anesthesiologists
  • Implement, monitor, and adjust patient physiologic condition as appropriate for type of anesthesia and specific patient needs
  • Transfer responsibility for patient care to other qualified providers post-operatively to ensure continuity of care and patient safety
  • Administer spinal, epidural, caudal, and nerve block anesthesia
  • Support departmental and operating room procedures in promoting patient satisfaction and quality
Requirements:
  • Current certification as a CRNA
  • Successful completion of a program of nurse anesthesia approved by the Council on Accreditation Programs
  • Ability to work collaboratively with attending anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
