LPN Job Description

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at IntelyCare, you will have the opportunity to provide compassionate nursing care in post-acute facilities. Our flexible scheduling model allows you to choose your own shifts and take time off on any day, week, or month of your choosing.

Responsibilities:
  • Providing nursing care to patients in post-acute facilities
  • Monitoring patients' physical and mental conditions and tracking their vital signs
  • Performing resident intakes, documenting medical histories, and tracking health concerns
  • Administering and verifying medications, tracking their use and effects
  • Cultivating a comfortable and safe facility for residents
  • Tracking medical records and charts
  • Assisting with IVs, immunizations, and phlebotomy procedures
  • Maintaining medical supplies and inventory
  • Working with staff to orient and train new colleagues
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Current New Jersey state license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Completion of approved LPN educational program
  • High school diploma (or GED/equivalent)
  • At least 1 year of experience (LPN or related role)
