Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Stocker to join our team at ALDI. As a key member of our warehouse staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of merchandise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receiving and Stocking: Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to effectively fulfill orders received from stores.
  • Merchandise Management: Relocate merchandise throughout the warehouse according to product handling guidelines.
  • Loading and Unloading: Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically in preparation for shipment and unload incoming shipment from trucks/back-hauls.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform general cleaning duties to achieve warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements.
  • Inventory Management: Participate in-taking warehouse inventory counts according to guidelines.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Cooperate and interact effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership through ongoing communication and exchange of information.
  • Process Improvement: Provide input to the warehouse management regarding changes to improve processes.
  • Quality Control: Inspect product, consult with the warehouse management regarding product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate equipment according to safety guidelines in performance of essential job functions.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Physical Demands: Frequently required to lift and place product weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights. Frequently move merchandise from warehouse stock and prepare product for store deliveries.
  • Work Environment: Continuously work in varying temperatures, hot and cold (including outdoor temperatures and refrigerator/freezer environments).
