Job Summary:

As a Patient Sitter at Haywood Regional Medical Center, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will provide continuous observation and surveillance of assigned patients who are identified as safety risks. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will make you an asset to our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide continuous observation and surveillance of assigned patients to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Report any changes in a patient's physical, mental, or emotional condition to the nursing staff.
• Communicate effectively with the Registered Nurse caring for the patient throughout your shift.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent desired.
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision are essential.
• Experience caring for patients in various settings is preferred.
