Job Overview

Focused Labs is a software consultancy that aims to improve the world of software engineering through excellence. We help companies solve tough problems while delivering products to market quickly, providing end-users with fantastic digital experiences and upskilling in-house development teams.

We are seeking a Marketing and Operations Associate with at least 2 years of experience to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming office environment, managing daily office operations, and collaborating on marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute advanced social media strategies to enhance our brand visibility and engagement.
  • Create and publish compelling marketing content that aligns with our company's goals and resonates with our target audience.
  • Organize and coordinate complex events, ensuring successful execution, promotion, and follow-up.
  • Lead collaborations with team members to develop and implement comprehensive marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
  • Manage YouTube channel operations, including content strategy, scheduling, viewer engagement, and in-depth performance analysis.
  • Oversee day-to-day office tasks, including organizing office supplies, restocking the fridge, coordinating lunches, and planning in-person events.
  • Efficiently manage office supplies and food inventory, including forecasting needs and placing orders as required.
  • Ensure a warm welcome for office visitors and streamline the onboarding process for new employees, including badge distribution.
  • Oversee office facilities to maintain a clean, organized, and well-maintained work environment.
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors to coordinate office services and repairs effectively.
  • Support team members with various administrative tasks and projects as needed.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, with a proven track record in crafting effective marketing and social media content.
  • Demonstrated success in managing marketing operations and growing an online presence.
  • Previous experience with Hubspot or another similar CRM.
  • Comfortable managing marketing campaigns from conception to completion.
  • Significant experience in office administration or coordination roles, preferably within small, dynamic companies.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive attitude and a track record of successfully taking on and managing new challenges.
  • History of thriving in collaborative environments and contributing substantially to team success.
  • Well-developed marketing skills and strategic thinking.
  • Ability to quickly absorb, apply, and innovate with new information.
  • Physical capability of handling occasional heavy lifting required for event setup and office management.
What to Know Before You Apply
  • This position is based at our office in Denver and would require being in the office.
  • Flexibility in working hours is essential, as you may need to accommodate occasional evening or weekend events.
  • This position may require some travel to offsite events.

We believe employees should be paid fairly and equitably. Salary ranges may vary depending on your previous experience. The Denver salary for this role is: $65,000 - $80,000.
