Position Overview:

Join our dedicated team at Kindred Hospital Philadelphia - Havertown as a Pharmacy Technician per diem . In this role, you will be an essential part of our healthcare team, contributing to the recovery and well-being of our patients.

Job Responsibilities:

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Pharmacy or a Registered Pharmacist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and dispensing additives for IV and irrigation solutions.
  • Mixing IV additive solutions using aseptic techniques within a laminar airflow hood.
  • Typing labels and preparing charge slips for accurate record-keeping.
  • Performing various related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Licenses/Certification: State Certification/Licensure as mandated by state regulations.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Certified Pharmacy Technician in a hospital pharmacy environment is required. Candidates should possess a basic understanding of computer operations related to prescription order processing and demonstrate effective communication skills with colleagues and customers.

Work Schedule:

This position requires availability every other weekend from 8 AM to 1 PM and one additional day during the week from 7:30 AM to 6 PM.
