Job Summary

The Bulk Driver position at Matheson Tri-Gas is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of commercial motor vehicles owned and/or operated by the company. This role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on customer satisfaction and safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely load and unload cryogenic liquids (oxygen, nitrogen, and argon) from Matheson Tri-Gas vehicles to customer locations and production facilities.
- Practice safe driving techniques on a daily basis while operating Matheson Tri-Gas vehicles to prevent work-related accidents and injuries.
- Report all accidents and unsafe acts/conditions (near misses) while performing normal duties.
- Comply with all company and customer safety policies and procedures as well as company employment policies and practices.

Requirements

- Class A driver's license with hazardous materials, tanker, and air brake endorsements.
- Minimum of two years of tractor and semi-trailer experience, with the ability to provide verification of experience.
- Safe driving record and ability to maintain physical qualifications as required by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, extended-stays, and team operation as needed.

Working Conditions

- Ability to work in all types of weather conditions and operate delivery and loading equipment in various environments.
- Must have the ability to acquire acceptable competency in safe handling practices of cryogenic liquids (loading, transport, and unloading).
