Chief Data Strategist

Astrana Health is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Director of Data Engineering to lead our data initiatives within the healthcare domain. We are committed to putting patients first and empowering entrepreneurial provider and care teams.

The total compensation target pay range for this role is: $210,000 - $220,000. This position includes a comprehensive benefits package, including remote work opportunities in the U.S.

We are seeking an expert in healthcare data concepts, with a strong technical background in key technologies such as Databricks, SQL Server, Tuva data model, dbt, Redox, AWS, Microsoft Azure Stack, Elation EHR, and Great Expectations. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in healthcare data standards and protocols (FHIR, HL7, EHR data), with a proven track record in data architecture, data quality, and data engineering.

• Data Engineering and Architecture Leadership: Develop and oversee the organization's data architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices.
• Data Quality Management: Implement and manage data quality initiatives to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of healthcare data.
• Data and User Administration: Oversee data governance, including access controls, user permissions, and compliance with data regulations.
