Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $115,000 - $170,000 per year, including excellent compensation, 401k, profit sharing, bonus, and top-tier benefits.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Oversee the monthly closing process, reviewing general ledger accounts and preparing journal entries.
  • Analyze monthly labor reports, including job costing and variance analysis.
  • Review and approve accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Ensure timely completion of quarterly payroll tax filings.
  • Prepare annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Maintain project costs and profitability, analyzing work-in-progress schedules.
  • Support audit schedules and collaborate with external auditors during year-end audits.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the construction industry with union payroll.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
  • Experience with WIP closing and job costing.
  • Knowledge of quarterly payroll taxes.
  • General ledger closing expertise.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
