Position Overview

EXCITING OPPORTUNITY IN PLUMBING SERVICES

Role Summary: Beacon Home Services is actively seeking a talented Plumbing Technician with a focus on residential plumbing solutions. We are looking for a team-oriented individual who demonstrates strong communication skills with both colleagues and clients. This position primarily serves the Montgomery County area, with occasional tasks in Northern Virginia.   • No on-call responsibilities
  • No late-night emergency calls
  • Consistent weekly pay
  • Company vehicle provided with mobile inventory

Key Duties:

  • Identifying and addressing issues within residential plumbing systems
  • Providing maintenance advice to clients
  • Presenting various options for system maintenance
  • Skilled in utilizing software such as Service Titan and inventory management systems
  • Complying with safety regulations in residential plumbing
  • Installation, repair, and upkeep of various plumbing systems
  • Employing measuring instruments and hand tools for plumbing tasks
  • Adhering to safety codes and building regulations
  • Maintaining effective communication with Dispatch
  • Keeping the service vehicle organized and clean
  • Following safe work practices and driving protocols
  • Engaging in regular training and team meetings
  • Maintaining a professional appearance in company uniform

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent certification
  • Completion of a Plumbing Trade School program
  • A minimum of five years of experience in residential plumbing
  • Ability to accurately diagnose plumbing problems
  • Knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and climb for extended periods
  • Physical capability to perform all residential plumbing tasks
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
