Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified Travel Nurse RN Psychiatric to fill a 13-week assignment in a psychiatric setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychiatric nursing and excellent communication skills. As a Travel Nurse RN Psychiatric, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, administering medications, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to psychiatric patients, including administering medications and implementing treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop individualized care plans to address these needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to these interventions.
  • Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
  • At least 1 year of experience in psychiatric nursing.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
