We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team at Peachtree Packaging & Display. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly PMs to prevent equipment downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in the development and implementation of continuous improvement projects to enhance production efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with the maintenance engineer and technicians to troubleshoot complex equipment issues and implement solutions.
- Work closely with production staff to identify and address equipment-related issues that impact production.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a fast-paced production environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
