Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images of patients' internal organs and tissues
  • Administer contrast materials and prepare patients for imaging procedures
  • Position patients to capture accurate images and ensure proper equipment operation
  • Coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Document patient information and imaging results
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
  • Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and in good standing
  • Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) required within one year of hire
  • Current state licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two years of experience as an Imaging Technologist in an acute care imaging setting
Physical and Mental Demands

This role requires the ability to work at a fast pace, prioritize multiple assignments, and respond to numerous requests. The ideal candidate will be able to problem-solve, make decisions, and exercise self-control in a dynamic environment.

Personal Protective Equipment

Caregivers in this role will follow Standard Precautions and use personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
