Addiction Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Addiction Counselor to join our team at Sunrise Treatment Center. As an Addiction Counselor, you will be responsible for providing counseling and support to individuals struggling with addiction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine the nature and extent of addiction
- Develop individualized treatment plans for clients
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions
- Monitor progress towards recovery goals
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements:
- Certification as a CDCA Addiction Counselor, LSW, LPC or higher
- At least six months addictions counseling experience
- Experience working with individuals struggling with addiction
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, scanners and photocopiers.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to type, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stoop as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
Travel:
No travel required for this position.
Required Education and Experience:
Certification as a CDCA Addiction Counselor, LSW, LPC or higher. At least six months addictions counseling experience. Experience working with individuals struggling with addiction. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Education and Experience:
At least one year of Addictions Counseling experience.
