As a key member of our outpatient psychiatry department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission to improve the lives of children and families.
Responsibilities- Provide Family-Centered Care: Deliver nursing care that prioritizes the needs and well-being of patients and their families.
- Assess and Plan Care: Conduct thorough assessments to identify individualized patient needs and develop effective care plans.
- Implement and Evaluate Care: Implement evidence-based practices and evaluate the effectiveness of care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that clinic processes and workflows meet regulatory and policy requirements, including infection control, OSHA, CLIA, Joint Commission, HIPAA, and scope of practice.
- Collaborate with Providers and Team Members: Work closely with providers and other team members to ensure a smooth clinic flow and address patient/parent concerns.
- Document Patient Care: Document patient care according to organizational standards, policies, and procedures.
- Engage in Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and represent staff at relevant meetings to ensure continuous improvement.
- Education: Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited school is required; BSN highly preferred.
- Licensure: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
- Experience: Three years pediatric clinical experience or equivalent combination of education/experience preferred.
