Job Summary:

Crown Equipment Corporation seeks a skilled Automotive, Diesel, and Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team. As a key member of our field service team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing Crown and other makes of lift trucks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair lift trucks to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Perform regular maintenance on customer equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend its lifespan.
  • Maintain a well-stocked service van and its inventory to ensure prompt and efficient repairs.
  • Process paperwork and documentation accurately and efficiently.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, with knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, hydraulics, and internal combustion engines.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on customer care.
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
  • Technical degree or previous experience in lift truck repair, welding, or related fields is preferred.
